How to delete spam in Gmail automatically using a filter

Gmail is awesome, I know it and you know it, it has an amazing spam filter and you can create custom filters to improve this feature. Now, to delete the spam messages is just as easy as going into the Spam folder and delete them manually, but how about deleting them automatically? Without your interaction. Here’s how.

Go into Gmail and click on the drop down menu of the search bar.

Search Options.

In the menu that appears, type “is:spam” in the “Has the words” area. Then “Create filter with...”.

Create Filter.

A message will appear, click Ok.

Pop up.

Now, you want to check the “Delete it” and “Apply filter to X number of...”
